From the moment Andy James picked up a guitar, he was destined to write songs that would touch people's inner emotions. Andy has his own electrifying unique sound and style - adding to the diversity of his music ranging from up-tempo songs to ballads. Andy believes a good song is one that that tells a story and has a strong melody. When listening to his 5 Track EP, you will find it possesses both of these qualities. Growing up and living in New York, Andy has gotten a great deal of inspiration from the things he has seen and the people he has met.
His passion for music goes beyond writing - to singing and performing. He truly loves playing to a live audience because as Andy says "The immediate response is what it's all about." He loves meeting his fans and appreciates their feedback and comments about his work.
Some of Andy's other interests include: playing boogie woogie - rock and roll piano, Jerry Lee Lewis, Hockey, movies and classic TV. One day he would like to get one of his songs into a major motion picture.
Andy has a great sense of humor; he says, "You only get one life, so try to have as much fun as you can, but at the same time try your hardest to make your dreams come true."
